The Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) is an established association representing counsellors, psychotherapists, counselling educators and students in Singapore, with over 1000 members from both the public and private counselling sectors. In anticipation for their website launch and anniversary, they requested for a rebrand of their logo design and print collateral.
Two figures intertwined in a spiral elevating up the two parties through communication, dialogue and development of SAC. Through the sharing of information and experience among its members, they represent the consistent standards set maintained through collaboration with local government bodies with mutual interest in counselling and effective provision of services to clients.
The blue hue showcases the organisation’s values of professionalism, integrity and ethics while a warm hue provides a sense of warmth, respect and diversity through protection. The five stars embedded in the blue spiral represent the five defining values of SAC: Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Diversity and Ethics, depicting Singapore’s identity with the national symbol of the five stars at the core of the brand.
Here are some of the rejected logos that I made, if you're interested.
